This fixed-term Mobile Domestic Assistant post for 12 months sits within the Delivery Frontline team at NHS Property Services, covering healthcare premises across Rotherham and Doncaster. The work is a full cleaning service that keeps sites clean, safe and welcoming, following the Domestic Services Operative Manual, set cleaning schedules and a strong focus on infection prevention. The role is mobile, so the post-holder moves between allocated sites in their own vehicle, working 20 hours a week mainly in the evening with some early morning cover. A standard DBS check is required.
What the job involves
- Carry out cleaning duties across multiple sites to a high standard
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and infection prevention
- Ensure cleaning schedules are completed accurately and consistently across all allocated locations
- Deliver a full cleaning service in line with the Domestic Services Operative Manual, policies and procedures
- Travel between allocated locations
- Support cleaning cover across sites as required
- Follow health and safety and COSHH guidelines
- Complete routine tasks and follow workplace procedures
- Work collaboratively with team members, site colleagues and Soft FM management
