A support role at Stanley Grove Primary Academy, working under a teacher and the SENCo to lead specialist help in one area of the curriculum. The core of the job is delivering learning programmes and taking a lead on pupils with special educational needs who need help to overcome barriers to learning. It covers individual pupils, small groups and, during short-term teacher absence, whole classes, with flexible working open to discussion at interview. Visa sponsorship is not available, and an enhanced DBS check is required.
