Lunchtime Organiser post at Ss John Fisher and Thomas More Catholic Primary School, part of Corpus Christi Catholic Academy Trust, on a permanent basis. The role covers supervising pupils during lunch in the dining areas and elsewhere, comforting pupils or giving first aid for minor injuries, and keeping to health, safety and safeguarding procedures. It is a short daily shift of 1.5 hours, Monday to Friday from 11.30am. The post needs an enhanced DBS check with barred list clearance, and visa sponsorship is not available.
What the job involves
- Supervise pupils in the dining areas and elsewhere as the Headteacher directs
- Help create a positive atmosphere so lunch and lunchtime recreation are pleasant for pupils and staff
- Give first aid to pupils with minor accidents where necessary
- Comfort and reassure pupils who do not need first aid
- Follow health and safety and safeguarding procedures correctly
