Care Assistant in the reablement service at Essex Cares, supporting people in their own homes across the community. The work centres on helping clients relearn everyday skills such as personal care, mobility and preparing meals so they can regain their independence. Contracts run from 16 to 36 hours on early and late shifts, with every contract including alternate weekends, and a full driving licence and own car are needed for travel between visits. Candidates who need visa sponsorship cannot apply directly and must go through a third-party provider.
What the job involves
