Applicants need previous maintenance experience and must pass a DBS check.
What the job involves
- Keep the service's buildings, facilities and equipment maintained and fit for purpose
- Carry out regular checks, audits and maintenance to find and repair faults
- Repair and maintain all buildings
- Undertake decorating
- Look after the gardens
- Use DIY skills to keep the environment safe for service users
- Report all faults and defects to a manager
- Take part in a one-week on-call rota for emergency maintenance
- Coordinate and support contractors on site, including liaising with them on upkeep
- Complete paperwork and tool checks
- Work across all maintenance tasks as part of an established team
Experience
- Previous experience in a maintenance role
