Casual relief cleaning cover at Lacey Gardens Junior Academy, called in as and when staff are absent or the site is busy, on a zero-hours basis. The work is general cleaning of classrooms, offices and washrooms, restocking hygiene supplies, occasional holiday deep cleans and helping secure the site. No prior experience or qualifications are needed, as training is given from day one. The post requires an enhanced DBS check and cannot be sponsored for a visa.
What the job involves
- Clean classrooms, offices and washrooms on a daily basis
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust and empty bins
- Sanitise washrooms and keep soap and paper towels stocked
- Use cleaning equipment and products safely, following Health & Safety and COSHH guidelines
- Carry out occasional deep cleans during school holidays
- Help lock or unlock the site and keep the premises secure
