This Assistant Manager post sits in the community opportunities team at Lincolnshire County Council, offered as a fixed-term contract that may become permanent. The role leads and develops community bases that help people with learning disabilities, autism and other lifelong conditions find new activities, volunteering, work experience and connections. One of five posts, it covers several teams across the county, with hybrid working and travel across the area. What the job involves

Lead, inspire and develop the existing service in the community bases, working with a Team Manager and staff team
Manage and inspire teams across the community bases
Be a key part of the wider county management team
Help deliver the council's ambitious development plans
Find new community connections and opportunities for people with learning disabilities, autism and other lifelong conditions
Adapt to the needs, wants and wishes of the people supported
Travel across the area as part of the role

Experience

Track record of managing and developing staff
