Permanent 19-hour night post at Eskdale Residential Home, a care home run by Cumberland Council. The work centres on personal and emotional care, medication support, and helping residents stay active, eat well and keep their independence. What the job involves
- Providing personal care and physical and emotional support to residents
- Getting to know residents individually to support their wellbeing
- Assisting with medication
- Encouraging residents to achieve or maintain their independence
- Supporting residents to stay active and healthy, including nutrition, fitness and mobility
- Supporting residents' emotional wellness
- Working nights from 9.30pm to 7.30am on a set rota with alternate weekends and bank holidays
