What the job involves
- Supervise active play outdoors, or in classrooms in wet weather
- Lead or encourage games and promote fair play and inclusive behaviour
- Refer first aid incidents to the school's first aid team
- Apply the behaviour policy using praise and gentle encouragement to resolve minor playground issues
- Keep a watchful eye on pupils' safety and report concerns under safeguarding procedures
