This is one of three permanent posts in the Support and Protect team at Westmorland and Furness Council. The work is casework with children and families on short and longer-term bases, completing assessments across Child in Need and Child Protection and, where concerns escape, pre-proceedings or court work. The area-based team lets practitioners build local links with families and partner agencies, with access to in-house specialist intervention teams.
