Supervisors take over lessons when teachers are absent and otherwise give in-class support, overseeing set work and pupil behaviour. The role suits someone considering teaching as a career, and experience of working with young people in a classroom is desirable rather than required. Fit depends on GCSE maths and English at grade 4 or above and an enhanced DBS check, and visa sponsorship is not available.
