This midday supervisory role at Southcott Lower School sits within Reception, working with children aged 4 and 5 in the EYFS. It runs on a fixed-term contract to 31 December 2026, with the option to extend, covering lunchtime supervision in the dinner hall and on the playground. The hours are 10 a week, 11.30 to 13.30 on weekdays. Candidates must be able to meet the physical demands of the post and pass an enhanced DBS check; visa sponsorship is not available.
What the job involves
- Supervise children at lunchtime in the dinner hall and on the playground
- Help Reception children aged 4 and 5 cut up their food
- Walk between tables in the dinner hall
- Stand and walk on the playground for up to 2 hours
