A six-month fixed-term Junior Clinical Fellow post at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, based in either the acute paediatric inpatient team or the Paediatric Emergency Department. The work centres on day-to-day on-site support, membership of the paediatric resuscitation team and out-of-hours rotas. Trainees from paediatrics, general practice and emergency medicine share the same educational opportunities across both areas, including teaching, simulation and audit. Full GMC registration and completed Foundation training are needed, with a start from March 2027.
What the job involves
- Day-to-day on-site support on the paediatric wards or in the Paediatric Emergency Department
- Integral member of the paediatric resuscitation team
- Participating in out-of-hours rotas
- Contributing to departmental and undergraduate teaching, including simulation
- Taking part in the department's audit and research programme
Qualifications
- MB BS or equivalent
Registration & licences
- Full GMC registration
Experience
- Completed Foundation training or equivalent

- Competencies relevant to completion of Foundation training
- Competent in the full range of practical skills
- Experience working within multi-disciplinary teams
- Enthusiasm for undergraduate and postgraduate teaching
