This is a two-year fixed-term post in the School Inclusion Service at Gloucestershire County Council, one of three roles created after an education review. The work is advising schools, Trusts and partners so their inclusive practice lets children reach suitable education, including statutory duties such as exclusions and attendance. • Giving advice, guidance and challenge linked to the Inclusion Framework and Toolkit, the Schools' Bill and the Ofsted Framework
  • Working with schools, Trusts and other professionals to remove barriers preventing children from accessing full and appropriate education
  • Building a high support, high challenge relationship with allocated schools and acting as their first point of contact
