Cygnet Health Care is recruiting a highly specialist occupational therapist to build occupational therapy provision at Cygnet Afon Las, a new 15-bed neurocognitive service for men. The post holder leads occupational therapy within an interdisciplinary team, supervises an occupational therapy assistant and works with people with complex, enduring neurocognitive needs. It is a permanent 40-hour post with protected weekly supervision, open to experienced Band 7 staff or a strong Band 6 ready to step up. Enhanced DBS and reference checks apply; start date March 2027.
What the job involves
- Lead and develop occupational therapy provision as part of the interdisciplinary team
- Provide clinical supervision to the occupational therapy assistant
- Support person-centred outcomes, occupational participation, independence and quality of life
