A Health and Social Care Assessor role with t2 Group, an apprenticeship provider, supporting learners on apprenticeship qualifications. The work is coaching learners towards their programme, assessing their knowledge and practical competence, and preparing them for end point assessment. Remote delivery is combined with planned workplace visits, and learners are supplied, so no sourcing is needed. Candidates need a Level 3 health and social care qualification, at least two years' senior carer experience or above, and a full UK driving licence.
What the job involves
- Build strong relationships with learners and employers through regular reviews and engagement
- Deliver teaching, coaching and assessment sessions aligned to apprenticeship standards
- Conduct workplace observations to assess practical competency
- Review learner work and give timely, constructive feedback
- Support learners with Functional Skills (Maths and English) where required
- Prepare learners for End Point Assessment (EPA)
- Monitor learner progress and ensure timely achievement of qualifications
- Promote safeguarding, wellbeing and a safe learning environment
Qualifications
- Level 3 or above qualification in Health and Social Care
Experience
- Minimum 2 years' recent experience in Adult Health and Social Care at Senior Carer level or above
