Ubico, which runs environmental services across Gloucestershire, Wiltshire and West Oxfordshire, is recruiting a grounds maintenance operative to look after public spaces in the town. The work is mainly routine grounds maintenance through the season, with waste tasks at district and external sites. It is a varied role of 37 hours a week, and it needs a full licence covering vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes. Applicants must have prior experience with mobile or static plant and equipment.

Experience
- Previous experience working with mobile or static plant and equipment
Skills & knowledge
- Basic horticulture knowledge
- Basic knowledge of vehicles, plant and machinery for grounds maintenance
- Basic knowledge of health and safety in grounds maintenance
Checks & eligibility
- Full driving licence for vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes gross weight
- Right to work and proof of identity
- References and medical screening
- Criminal record verification may be required
