Derby City Council is seeking a permanent plant technician to maintain and repair its grounds machinery at the Stores Road depot. You will service ride-on and pedestrian mowers, diagnose faults in electrical and hydraulic systems, and carry out welding when needed.
The role includes out-of-hours standby and overtime on breakdown call-outs. Candidates should have City & Guilds Levels 1–3 in Maintenance & Repair (or NVQ equivalent) and proven plant repair experience to join a dedicated team
