A 12-month locum consultant post in paediatric neurophysiology, covering 10 PA, at Alder Hey Children's NHS Foundation Trust. The work centres on EEG reporting, including acute recording, video telemetry and EMG with SF studies. It supports the Northern Children's Epilepsy Surgery Service, a network shared with the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital, and offers a route into invasive neurophysiology. Applications from those unable to commit to the full 10 PA are also welcomed.
What the job involves
- EEG reporting, including acute recording
- Video telemetry recordings from ward and home, including those being assessed for epilepsy surgery
- Support the Northern Children's Epilepsy Surgery Service (NorCESS)
- EMG clinics, including SF studies
What’s required
Experience
- 5 years' paediatric reporting experience
- 3 years' paediatric EMG experience
Nice to have
- Experience in sEEG (3 years)
