General Teaching Assistant post at Discovery Primary Academy, part of the Four Cs Multi Academy Trust, working with the SENDCo in the academy's inclusion base. What the job involves
- Support individual children and small groups within the inclusion base, working with the SENDCo
- Work one-to-one with children so they can follow the lesson
- Support children across the academy academically, emotionally and socially
- Support high quality teaching in classrooms alongside class teachers
- Work with the SENDCo, class teachers and other support staff
- Provide personal care for some children as required

- Good standard of written and spoken English
- Good Maths skills
- Empathetic and adaptable approach
- Ability to thrive under pressure and solve challenges
