A 12-month fixed-term post in the Elective and Diagnostic Team at Frimley Park Hospital, focused on endoscopy, for Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust. It books appointments across all Trust sites and helps run and monitor new and existing appointment systems. Liaison with patients, clinical staff and colleagues under tight deadlines makes customer service and accuracy central. No Skilled Worker sponsorship is offered, so candidates need existing UK right to work for the whole fixed term.
What the job involves
- Book appointments across all Trust sites
- Implement and monitor new and existing appointment systems
- Help the Trust meet its targets
- Provide very high customer service to patients and to internal and external staff
Qualifications
- GCSE English and Maths pass or equivalent
- ECDL or equivalent
Experience
- Experience of working in a hospital or busy office environment
- Significant experience handling difficult patient situations
- Some customer care experience
Skills & knowledge
- Good verbal and written communication
- Attention to detail and accuracy in tasks
- Working under pressure
- Working on own initiative
- Excellent customer service with evidence of telephone work and meeting targets
Nice to have
- NVQ Level 2 Administration or equivalent practical knowledge
- Call centre experience
