This Food and Beverage Team Member post sits within the dining service at Fleet Hall Care Home, run by Avery Healthcare Group. The core of the work is helping residents with their meals, from menu choices to laying and clearing dining tables. Set in the bistro areas, the role also involves stocking homemade cakes, biscuits, finger food and fresh fruit through the day, and being alert to residents' dietary needs. A DBS check and proof of right to work in the UK are required.
What the job involves
- Support the dining service and help residents with their meals
- Help residents choose their meal options at mealtimes
- Set dining tables to standard operating procedures
- Keep the front of house clean, tidy and well presented
- Remove dirty crockery and replenish it throughout the day
- Keep fresh homemade cakes and biscuits, finger food and fresh fruit available and replenished in the bistro areas
- Be aware of residents' dietary requirements
