The caretaker post sits across two federated schools, Oxford Road Community School and Wilson Primary School, working alongside the Federation Premises Manager. The work centres on day-to-day site management, keeping both buildings safe, clean and well maintained, and managing external contractors. Permanent and split across the two sites, it runs 8am to 4pm on weekdays with some out-of-hours work. An enhanced DBS check and right to work in the UK are required, and visa sponsorship is not available.
What the job involves
- Take responsibility for day-to-day site management across the federation
- Maintain the condition of both schools, keeping them safe, clean and positive
- Work with external contractors
- Manage holiday and term-time maintenance works
