This is a casual invigilator role with Wiltshire College & University Centre, supervising exams and assessments at one of its campuses. The work is bank-based and sessional, with hours offered as examinations require across the year, from short spells to longer runs. Duties centre on running exam rooms: setting up, briefing candidates, monitoring conditions and securely collecting papers. No prior invigilation experience is needed, as full training is given before exam periods, and availability for scheduled exams is the main test of fit.
What the job involves
- Supervise students during exams to ensure regulations are followed
- Set up examination rooms and distribute materials
- Give clear instructions to candidates before and during exams
- Monitor exam conditions calmly and professionally
- Collect and securely handle exam papers at the end of each session
- Report issues or irregularities under College procedures
