It also includes weekly visits to hostels and schemes and day-to-day oversight of pre-apprentice rangers. A full UK driving licence and a basic DBS check are needed.

  • Carry out annual flat fire door inspections, test AOVs, emergency lighting and powered gates, and check playground equipment weekly

  • Post-inspect external grounds maintenance contractors' work and support them to meet CKH standards
  • Carry out weekly repair visits to hostels and schemes as identified by scheme managers
  • Manage site security, including keys, fobs and access to restricted areas, and liaise with contractors, residents and staff
  • Challenge residents and the public on health and safety non-compliance, and report tenancy breaches, anti-social behaviour and emergencies to the appropriate teams or the Police
  • Respond to on-site queries and complaints from residents and manage their expectations, escalating unresolved issues to the line manager
  • Clear and maintain residents' gardens and estates, including pruning, mowing, hedge and bramble cutting, and removing refuse, fly-tipping and sharps
