This talent pool sits within Thirteen Group's Employability team in Specialist Housing and recruits fixed-term caseworkers for 12 months. Caseworkers hold a caseload of people who are out of work, in education or training, or looking to change career, helping them build resilience and move into sustainable work. Most of the week is spent out in the community rather than in an office, with occasional travel across a wide area. Visa sponsorship is not available, so candidates must already have the right to work in the UK.
What the job involves
- Act as the main point of contact for people moving into work, including help with CVs, applications, job searches and interview skills
- Support a caseload of participants to overcome barriers to economic inclusion and move towards sustainable employment and financial wellbeing
- Address barriers with imaginative, flexible methods, including 1:1 and group work
- Deliver a high-quality service aimed at positive outcomes
- Liaise with the wider Employability team to identify volunteering and training opportunities
- Generate referrals into the service
- Travel occasionally across the operating area in line with business need

- Strong customer-focused skills and commitment to positive outcomes
