Zero-hours bank role for Registered Mental Health Nurses and Learning Disabilities Nurses, placed through Elysium Healthcare's nurse staff bank to cover Wellesley Hospital and two Exeter services, Pinhoe View and The Woodmill. The work is evidence-based care for men and women with mental health conditions, alongside supporting colleagues and promoting teamwork. Shifts are 12.5 hours, run on weekdays, nights and weekends, and are booked through an app once a paid two-week induction is completed.
What the job involves
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based care to men and women with mental health conditions
- Support colleagues and promote good teamwork
- Book and work shifts across Wellesley Hospital, Pinhoe View and The Woodmill
- Work 12.5-hour standard shifts in a 24/7 service
What’s required
Qualifications
- Relevant nursing qualification
Registration & licences
- UK registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Learning Disabilities Nurse (RNLD)
- NMC registration
Experience
- Previous experience in a similar setting
Skills & knowledge
- Strong team-working skills
- High level of self-motivation and a flexible approach
