Essex Cares' reablement team is recruiting care assistants to work with customers in their own homes, helping them regain skills such as personal care, mobility and meal preparation. The work is community-based, so the role involves travel between clients, with shifts on 7am to 3pm or 3pm to 11pm and contracts that include every other weekend. Training is provided, and a mentor shadows new starters until they feel confident. A full driving licence and your own car are required, and applicants needing visa sponsorship cannot apply directly.
What the job involves
