Grange Lane Infant Academy, a Delta Academies Trust school, is recruiting a part-time, temporary Teaching Assistant Level 2 to start in January 2027. The post supports pupils' access to learning and helps the teacher manage pupils and the classroom, working under staff direction in or beyond the main teaching area. It sits in an infant academy for children aged 2 to 7, rated outstanding by Ofsted in 2023, with a focus on pupils with SEND. Visa sponsorship is not available.
What the job involves
- Work under the guidance of teaching or senior staff to deliver support programmes that enable pupils to access learning
- Assist the teacher in managing pupils and the classroom
- Work in the classroom or outside the main teaching area
Nice to have
- Level 3 certificate in early education
- Experience of working with children with special educational needs, including personal and intimate care
