A Learning Support Assistant post at St Mary's Catholic Primary School, supporting the class teacher and pupils. The work centres on helping pupils with SEND, including those with EHC Plans, and delivering individual targets with the SENDCO and Inclusion manager. The post is term-time only, 32.5 hours across Monday to Friday, in a Catholic school that places weight on staff training and wellbeing. An enhanced DBS and right to work in the UK are required, as visa sponsorship is not available.
What the job involves
- Supporting the class teacher and pupils in lessons
- Working with individual pupils on set targets, and helping to review and implement them
- Working with the SENDCO and Inclusion manager on pupils with EHC Plans
- Supporting pupils with changing, medical or personal hygiene needs

- Relevant experience supporting pupils' learning
