The work centres on triaging online patient requests and directing them to the right team, clinician or service, alongside processing digital forms, managing tasks and arranging appointments. The role also covers NHS 111 appointment bookings and healthcare professional enquiries, handled on SystmOne and SystmConnect. Fit depends on customer-facing experience and strong IT and database skills; training is provided.
What the job involves
- Review online patient requests and direct them to the appropriate team, clinician or service
- Review and process digital forms
- Manage tasks and document workflows
- Arrange appointments in line with practice procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Work with the Dashboard GP and wider clinical and non-clinical teams to support safe, efficient patient care
- Respond to healthcare professional enquiries
- Manage NHS 111 appointment bookings
- Process requests through SystmOne and SystmConnect
