What the job involves
- Lead and manage the Development Management and Planning Enforcement sections of the Planning and Growth Directorate
- Put in place robust development implementation policies for the Council
- Provide professional leadership for the commissioning and delivery of Development Management and Planning Enforcement services
- Ensure those services are high quality, efficient and focused on customers
- Contribute to delivery of the Council's strategic corporate priorities, including growth and regeneration
