What the job involves
- Help service users work towards independent achievements and build skills and goals, including daily living skills
- Assist service users who cannot fully attend to their own personal needs, including meal times and tea breaks
- Work with other staff to assess and prepare programmes that meet individual needs
- Record and pass on information to the relevant people
Experience
- Relevant experience of working with service users
Skills & knowledge
- Awareness of issues affecting service users in a day setting, including rights, responsibilities, choice and confidentiality
- Ability to work on own initiative and take responsibility
- Ability to manage challenges in an appropriate manner
- Ability to communicate in Welsh (essential)
- English at an essential level
