The Pastoral Leader post sits within the pastoral team at Great Sankey High School and works under a Progress Leader and an SLT link for one year group. The post-holder carries overall responsibility for that year group's behaviour, attendance and safeguarding, giving pupils care and practical support. It is a term-time role of 37 hours a week plus one week. Visa sponsorship is not available, and a full enhanced DBS check is required.
What the job involves
- Hold overall responsibility for the behaviour, attendance and safeguarding of one year group, under a Progress Leader and an SLT link
- Provide care, reassurance and practical support to pupils
