Security Officer in City of London

This post sits within the established security team at Barts Health NHS Trust, one of the largest NHS trusts in the country. The core of the work is delivering a security provision across the Trust that is conspicuous, puts service users first and keeps professional standards throughout. The aim is a safe, crime-free setting for patients, staff, visitors and the public. Holding an SIA licence and a Security Manning Licence is required.

Experience

• Working in a multicultural and diverse environment
• Working on own initiative to solve operational issues
• Knowledge of security and reception industry protocols

Skills & knowledge

• Good verbal and written skills
• Good interpersonal skills with a service-user focus
• Working knowledge of NHS security procedures and processes
• Working knowledge of electronic security systems
• Basic experience of securing and presenting evidence for internal and external proceedings
