This is the Chief Executive Officer post at Links Multi Academy Trust, which runs three alternative provision schools in St Albans and Hatfield plus an outreach service, following the retirement of the current CEO. The role holder would set and deliver the Trust's strategy across education, people, finances and partnerships, acting as Accounting Officer. The work covers primary and secondary phases and aims to improve outcomes for disadvantaged pupils who need personalised support. Visa sponsorship is not available.
What the job involves
- Implement the strategic direction set by the Trust Board
- Ensure exceptional educational outcomes across all Trust schools
- Lead Trust-wide school improvement across primary and secondary phases
- Oversee the Trust's performance, including standards, people leadership, finance and external partnerships
- Ensure sustainable growth and robust financial health
- Act as Accounting Officer and ensure statutory, financial and legal requirements are met
- Shape the Trust's approach to teaching, curriculum innovation and inclusion
- Build a collaborative network of school leaders and leadership capacity
- Embed a culture of high-quality continuous professional learning
- Deliver the Trust's civic and moral responsibilities with stakeholders and partners
- Ensure high-quality education through effective and efficient use of resources and people
- Model the Trust's Responsibility, Respect and Resilience characteristics
