What the job involves
- Manage the Care Supervisors and ensure high-quality personal care
- Advocate for residents and maintain their wellbeing in all areas
- Coordinate the resident assessment process and keep care plans accurate
- Support, guide and develop team members
- Manage the storage, cleaning and care of equipment in line with manufacturer's instructions
- Ensure compliance with the Safe Medication Management programme, with robust auditing li>
- Carry out Quality Care Spot Checks on the quality of care given by Care Supervisors, Carers and Senior Carers
What’s required
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 4 in Care or equivalent
Experience
- Minimum of two years' experience in long-term care or a similar setting
- Experience of leading a team in a similar care environment
Skills & knowledge
- Comprehensive understanding of CQC Fundamental Standards
