This permanent, full-time Family Liaison Officer post covers all campuses of Sherwood Foundation School, linking pupils' families with the school. The work centres on removing barriers to learning, improving communication between home and school, and acting as Deputy Safeguarding Lead across campuses under the DSL and principal DSL. The role works with staff, pupils, parents, guardians and external agencies on a term-time pattern of 38 weeks plus 3 weeks. Candidates need an enhanced DBS check and eligibility to work in the UK, as visa sponsorship is not available.
