Hyde Group is recruiting a multi-trader for its busy maintenance team to carry out day-to-day repairs in customers' homes. The work is mainly carpentry, with doors, kitchens and bathrooms among the common jobs, alongside plumbing, plastering, tiling and painting. The patch covers the DA, ME and BR postcodes and includes a company van and fuel card. A full UK driving licence is needed to take it on.
What the job involves
- Carry out multi-trade repairs, mainly carpentry
- Fix day-to-day issues such as doors, kitchens and bathrooms
- Complete general maintenance including plumbing, patch plastering, minor tiling and painting
- Follow work orders and report progress and materials used
- Work safely and follow Hyde's health and safety procedures
- Give a professional, friendly service to customers in their homes
What’s required
Experience
- Solid experience across multiple trades, especially carpentry and plumbing
Skills & knowledge
- Confident using hand and power tools
- Working independently and managing own workload
- Practical problem-solving to fix issues properly
- Good communication and a customer-friendly attitude
Checks & eligibility
- Valid full UK driving licence
