The Family Worker sits in the Targeted Support Service at Cambridgeshire County Council, within a district team alongside Young People’s Workers and managers. The work is targeted intervention with children, young people and families, aimed at reducing the risk of harm, stopping needs escalating and keeping families together. The post works alongside the Family Hubs provision and is expected to become a Family Help Lead Professional role as the Families First programme develops. Appointment depends on an Enhanced DBS check.
