Hyde Group, a housing provider managing around 120,000 homes, is recruiting a Business Automation Consultant on 12-month maternity cover. The role designs and delivers automation across core business processes to cut manual effort, cost and risk while improving speed, accuracy and customer experience. It suits candidates with process mapping experience and hands-on work in tools such as Power Automate, UiPath or Blue Prism, with hybrid working available. Proven delivery of business process automation in a specialist, transformation or consultancy setting is essential.
What the job involves
- Analyse end-to-end business processes to find inefficiencies, bottlenecks and repeatable tasks suited to automation
- Prioritise automation opportunities by value, risk, complexity and fit with business goals
- Work with stakeholders to understand operational challenges and agree clear automation outcomes
- Turn complex processes into simple, well-controlled automated solutions that are secure and scalable
- Measure and track the benefits of automation
- Build sustainable automation capability across the organisation
What’s required
Experience
- Proven experience designing and delivering business process automation in a specialist, transformation or consultancy role
Skills & knowledge
- Strong process analysis and problem-solving skills
- Ability to measure, track and explain business benefits and outcomes
- Strong stakeholder management with technical teams, business users and external suppliers
- Process mapping
- Value stream mapping
- Experience using Microsoft Power Automate, N8N, UiPath or Blue Prism
