The Ward Clerk role is a part-time position in the SDEC Unit at Fairfield General Hospital, operated by the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust. It provides clerical support for ward and unit staff, keeps patient records safe and accessible, and registers and discharges patients on IT systems while coordinating outpatient follow-ups.
It also handles a friendly, confidential reception service for patients, relatives and visitors.
