Shifts fall on weekdays during term time plus 20 days, so the post suits someone able to work outside the usual school day. Cleaning experience is desirable but not essential, as full training is given.
What the job involves
- Cleaning classrooms, offices, corridors, toilets and communal areas
- Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping and dusting designated areas
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
- Replenishing cleaning supplies and consumables
- Reporting maintenance issues or health and safety concerns
- Carrying out cleaning in line with school procedures and health and safety regulations
