The Plumbing delivery team at Harlow College has a full-time permanent Technician post, supporting practical and theory teaching in the plumbing workshop. The role centres on preparing learning materials, supervising and advising learners, and keeping stock, inventories and health and safety in order. It is a workshop-based post in a fast-paced setting. Level 2 plumbing, Level 2 maths and English, and an enhanced DBS check are required.
What the job involves
- Take part in the day-to-day activities of the Plumbing delivery team
- Assist with the planning, preparation and use of learning materials
- Supervise and advise learners on practical and theory work
- Monitor stock levels, order and receive materials
- Maintain inventories
- Ensure health and safety in the Plumbing workshop
Qualifications
- Level 2 in Plumbing
- Level 2 in maths and English
Skills & knowledge
- Skills and knowledge base of plumbing
