This Early Years Practitioner post is in the Nursery at St Luke's Catholic Academy, part of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Multi Academy Trust. The work centres on safe, good-quality education and care for Nursery children, acting as key person for named children and liaising with their parents or carers. Duties also include curriculum planning, record keeping, basic first aid and setting up and clearing the playroom each day. An NVQ Level 3 in EYFS or equivalent is required, and visa sponsorship is not available.
What the job involves
- Provide safe, high-quality education and care to Nursery children
- Set high expectations so every child achieves in a happy, creative and caring setting
- Act as key person for named children
- Liaise with parents and carers so each child's needs are recognised and met
- Assist with curriculum planning and record keeping
- Administer basic first aid as required
- Set up the playroom for the daily programme and tidy away at the end of the session
Qualifications
