Education Impact Academy Trust's central team is recruiting a permanent Site Supervisor, based mainly at Wilson Stuart School and Hive College, two specialist settings for pupils and learners with SEND. The post looks after the estate, improving learning and working environments and keeping buildings compliant with health and safety law. It runs on a 36.5-hour, year-round shift pattern with travel between Trust sites, suiting someone with site experience. An enhanced DBS check is required and visa sponsorship is not available.
What the job involves
- Improve learning and working environments across the estate for students and staff
- Carry out ongoing maintenance of Trust buildings
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, including health and safety
- Prioritise and address issues identified
- Work with the Trust-wide estates team to find and share solutions
- Travel between Trust premises as required

Experience
- Experience of working in a site role
- Practical experience of ensuring health and safety compliance
Skills & knowledge
- Excellent working knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation
- Proactive approach, able to prioritise and resolve issues
- Excellent team player able to work with a range of colleagues
- Commitment to working with students with SEND and an understanding of how environment affects their learning
