This term-time post in the pastoral team at Dame Elizabeth Cadbury School adds capacity as the team grows. The work centres on one-to-one and group interventions and workshops that remove barriers to learning, supported by liaison with SLT, Heads of Houses and external providers. The post is 37 hours, Monday to Friday, plus one week. Visa sponsorship is not available.
What the job involves
- Lead intervention strategies to improve pupil outcomes by removing barriers to learning
- Prepare and run one-to-one intervention sessions with pupils
- Prepare and run group sessions and workshops
- Liaise with and support the work of SLT and Heads of Houses
- Create and develop communication links with external services and providers
Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role involving young people
- Experience of running one-to-one or group sessions with young people
Skills & knowledge
- Ability to handle highly confidential information
