Support runs through the whole school day, covering transitions, indoor and outdoor learning, playtimes and lunchtimes over 32.5 hours across five days. What the job involves
- Provide consistent 1:1 support to a Reception pupil with an EHCP throughout the school day
- Help the pupil access learning in structured activities and continuous provision
- Support emotional regulation and communication development
- Provide responsive scaffolding to support understanding and interaction
- Facilitate engagement during transitions, indoor and outdoor learning, playtimes and lunchtimes
- Work in collaboration with the class teacher and SENCo
- Support the day-to-day teaching assistant activities of the school
