This is a bank post at Wall Street, a residential home run by Shaftesbury Group. The work centres on supporting people to make choices, following their wishes and person-centred support plans, while keeping accurate records and possibly administering personal care and medication. The service specialises in people with cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis and acquired brain injury or stroke, and sleep-in sessions are available for extra pay. Visa sponsorship is not offered for this role.
What the job involves
- Provide support and encouragement, taking direction from the person supported and their person-centred support plan
- Maintain accurate records in line with service requirements
- Administer personal care and medication when required
