Support Worker post at Cygnet Elowen Hospital, a new 24-bed adult hospital in Derbyshire operated for Cygnet Health Care. Daily work covers enhanced care, physical and emotional support, medical and welfare needs, reporting, safeguarding and keeping the environment clean. The hospital's two specialist wards treat adults with eating disorders and complex personality disorders with disordered eating, on 42-hour weeks covering day and night shifts. No previous healthcare experience is needed because training is provided, but an enhanced DBS check is required.
What the job involves
- Provide enhanced care using a flexible learning approach for all people in care
- Give guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support
